Ed Oldham

Ed Oldham

PGA Certified Master Professional

Ed is a PGA Certified Master Professional in Golf Instruction and a two-time Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year.
His passion is teaching the game. Ed’s students have won nine Colorado Amateur Player of the Year awards in the last eight years. More than 50 of his students have earned college scholarships, and he has coached two players into the top 100 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Ed enhances his expert instruction with advanced technology, such as the Flightscope Launch Monitor; a Boditrak pressure mat; and the FocusBand, a wearable brain-training device that helps with pre-swing processes, learning and the mental game.

Ed’s Teaching Philosophy

Playing better golf means shooting lower scores. Ed will work with you to develop a plan to help you do just that — and enjoy the game more. He believes in coaching the individual. No two golfers are alike. There is not one perfect swing that will work for everyone. Each person’s swing has been influenced by many things, including body type, flexibility, beliefs and the environment and conditions where they play or learned to play.

The Hall of Fame is full of swings that are unique. Through goal setting, practice planning, and overall game analysis, Ed can work with you to create an organized and logical approach to your improvement. The priorities are ball control with the full swing and short game, self-control in the mental game and good course management and decision-making. Ed’s approach to learning golf is based on effective motor skill learning and performance.
